RALEIGH, NC (1156 PM EST Sat Jan 11 2020) — The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a Tornado Warning for Central Cumberland County in central North Carolina Southeastern Hoke County in central North Carolina until 1230 AM EST. At 1155 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Antioch, or near Raeford, moving northeast at 65 mph. HAZARD: Tornado. SOURCE: Radar indicated rotation. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near Fayetteville around 1220 AM EST. Godwin around 1230 AM EST. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Eastover, Silver City, Wade, Hope Mills and Vander. TAKE COVER NOW!
