Day 1 Convective Outlook NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
0725 PM CDT Sat May 11 2019 Valid 120100Z - 121200Z ...THERE IS A MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM SOUTHERN
LOUISIANA/MISSISSIPPI NORTHEASTWARD TO THE CAROLINAS... ...SUMMARY...
Thunderstorms with marginally severe wind gusts and hail will be
possible across parts of the Gulf Coast States, Tennessee Valley and
Carolinas early tonight. ...01Z Outlook Update...
A lingering threat for isolated damaging wind gusts and hail
persists with convection from southern Louisiana/Mississippi
northeastward to the Carolinas. The risk areas have been trimmed to
include areas containing ongoing convection in this region that
still have access to surface-based, pre-convective air parcels that
are moderately unstable. This risk should continue to wane through
the evening hours, however, as low-levels stabilize due to nocturnal
cooling. ..Cook.. 05/12/2019
