LAKE CHARLES, LA (437 AM CDT Thu Apr 25 2019) — The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Tornado Warning for Northeastern Beauregard Parish in southwestern Louisiana until 515 AM CDT. At 437 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Singer, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD: Tornado. SOURCE: Radar indicated rotation. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near Tulla around 450 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Bundick Lake. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows.
