SAN ANGELO, TX (630 PM CDT Tue Apr 23 2019) — The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northern Coke County in west central Texas Southwestern Nolan County in west central Texas until 715 PM CDT. At 630 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Silver, or 20 miles northwest of Robert Lee, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD: Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. This severe thunderstorm will be near Maryneal around 705 PM CDT. Blackwell around 715 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include The Intersection Of Ranch Road 608 And Highway 147. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
