RALEIGH, NC (544 PM EDT FRI APR 19 2019) — The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a Tornado Warning for Northern Vance County in central North Carolina Northwestern Warren County in central North Carolina Northeastern Granville County in central North Carolina until 615 PM EDT At 544 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Oxford, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD: Tornado. SOURCE: Radar indicated rotation. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include Oxford, Stovall, Dabney, Tungsten, Satterwhite Point Marina, John H Kerr Reservoir, Steele Creek Marina & Campground, Bullocksville and Kerr Lake. TAKE COVER NOW!
