WAKEFIELD, VA (803 PM EDT FRI APR 19 2019) — The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a Tornado Warning for Southeastern King and Queen County in east central Virginia Northwestern Middlesex County in eastern Virginia Central Northumberland County in eastern Virginia Southeastern Richmond County in east central Virginia Eastern New Kent County in east central Virginia Southeastern King William County in east central Virginia Northwestern Lancaster County in eastern Virginia Southeastern Essex County in east central Virginia until 830 PM EDT. At 803 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Barhamsville, or near West Point, moving northeast at 65 mph. HAZARD: Tornado. SOURCE: Radar indicated rotation. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near Little Plymouth around 810 PM EDT. Church View around 815 PM EDT. Urbanna and Jamaica around 820 PM EDT. Morattico and Sharps around 825 PM EDT. Robley, Lancaster and Farnham around 830 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Eltham, Regina, Mollusk, Nuttsville, Dragonville, Belle Isle State Park, Mattaponi, Warner, Tidewater and Mascot. TAKE COVER NOW!
