WAKEFIELD, VA (740 PM EDT FRI APR 19 2019) — The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a Tornado Warning for Eastern Louisa County in central Virginia Northwestern Goochland County in central Virginia until 815 PM EDT. At 740 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Fife, or near Hadensville, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD: Tornado. SOURCE: Radar indicated rotation. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near Hadensville around 745 PM EDT. Louisa around 800 PM EDT. Mineral around 805 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Orchid, Pendleton, Louisa Airport, Cuckoo, Caledonia, Elk Hill, Yanceyville, Fredericks Hall, Georges Tavern and Tabscott. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows.
