JACKSONVILLE, FL (1154 AM EDT Fri Apr 19 2019) — The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southeastern Alachua County in northern Florida Marion County in northern Florida Putnam County in northeastern Florida Southern Clay County in northeastern Florida until 100 PM EDT. At 1154 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Keystone Heights to near Beverly Hills, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Ocala, Palatka, Rainbow Lakes Estates, Interlachen, Keystone Heights, East Palatka, Salt Springs, Citra, Lynne and Melrose. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM EDT for northern and northeastern Florida. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
