Thunderstorm Warning for Warren County MS and 2 More

JACKSON, MS (138 PM CDT THU APR 18 2019) — The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for East central Warren County in west central Mississippi Hinds County in central Mississippi Copiah County in central Mississippi until 300 PM CDT. At 138 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Yokena to near Peyton to near Union Church, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Severe thunderstorms will be near Barlow around 145 PM CDT. Allen and Carpenter around 150 PM CDT. Dentville around 155 PM CDT. Newman and Bovina around 200 PM CDT. Hazlehurst around 205 PM CDT. Crystal Springs, Wesson, Edwards, Gallman and Martinsville around 210 PM CDT. Bolton and Hopewell around 220 PM CDT. Raymond around 225 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Beauregard, Learned and Georgetown.
