Thunderstorm Warning for Conecuh County AL and 4 More

MOBILE, AL (713 PM CDT Thu Apr 18 2019) — The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northwestern Butler County in south central Alabama Monroe County in south central Alabama Northeastern Clarke County in southwestern Alabama Wilcox County in south central Alabama North central Conecuh County in south central Alabama until 815 PM CDT. At 712 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Orrville to 9 miles south of Whatley, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Monroeville, Camden, Peterman, Whatley, Beatrice, Vredenburgh, Yellow Bluff and Pine Apple. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central and southwestern Alabama. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
