Thunderstorm Warning for Roger Mills County OK

NORMAN, OK (439 PM CDT Wed Apr 17 2019) — The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Roger Mills County in western Oklahoma until 530 PM CDT. At 439 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northeast of Sweetwater, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD: Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Cheyenne, Reydon, Strong City, Roll and Dempsey. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
