Thunderstorm Warning for Coffey County KS

TOPEKA, KS (859 PM CDT WED APR 17 2019) — The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southwestern Coffey County in east central Kansas until 945 PM CDT. At 859 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Burlington to 3 miles southeast of Hamilton, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Burlington, Gridley, Le Roy and John Redmond Reservoir. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
