Thunderstorm Warning for Brown County TX and 2 More

SAN ANGELO, TX (726 PM CDT Wed Apr 17 2019) — The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southeastern Brown County in west central Texas Northeastern McCulloch County in west central Texas Northwestern San Saba County in west central Texas until 830 PM CDT. At 725 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Elm Grove, or 11 miles northwest of Richland Springs, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Blanket, Camp Bowie, Skeeterville, Elm Grove, Zephyr, Mercury, Hall, Milburn and Indian Creek. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. This storm has a history of producing golf-ball size hail.
