BALTIMORE MD/WASHINGTON, DC (243 AM EDT Mon Apr 15 2019) — The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a Tornado Warning for Southeastern St. Marys County in southern Maryland until 315 AM EDT. At 243 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles east of Lewisetta, or 7 miles southeast of Saint Inigoes Creek, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD: Tornado. SOURCE: Radar indicated rotation. For those in the direct path of a tornado touchdown, flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Damage to roofs, siding, and windows may occur. Mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed. Tree damage is likely. This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern St. Marys County, including the following locations Scotland. TAKE COVER NOW!
