Thunderstorm Warning for Coffee County AL

TALLAHASSEE, FL (630 AM CDT SUN APR 14 2019) — The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northwestern Coffee County in southeastern Alabama until 715 AM CDT. At 629 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 miles south of Rutledge to near Brantley to Dozier, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Pine Level, Chestnut Grove, Clowers Crossroads, Wilkinstown, Bluff Spring, Zoar, Jack and Newby. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately.
