Tornado Warning for Menard County TX and 1 More

SAN ANGELO, TX (732 AM CDT Sat Apr 13 2019) — The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Tornado Warning for Central Menard County in west central Texas Southeastern Concho County in west central Texas until 800 AM CDT. At 732 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Menard, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD: Tornado. SOURCE: Radar indicated rotation. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include Menard and The Intersection Of Us-83 And Highway 29. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
