SAN ANGELO, TX (624 AM CDT Sat Apr 13 2019) — The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Tornado Warning for Southeastern Tom Green County in west central Texas Southwestern Concho County in west central Texas until 700 AM CDT. At 622 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 9 miles south of Wall, or 10 miles east of Christoval, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD: Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated rotation. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include Vancourt and Vick. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
