WILMINGTON, OH (658 AM EDT FRI APR 12 2019) — The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southeastern Ripley County in southeastern Indiana Dearborn County in southeastern Indiana until 730 AM EDT. At 657 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Versailles, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines. Locations impacted include Bright, Hidden Valley, Versailles, Milan, Moores Hill, Guilford, Logan, Manchester, Sunman, St. Leon, West Harrison, Mount Sinai, Cold Springs, Dover, Benham, Weisburg, Interstate 74 at US Route 52, Versailles Lake, New Trenton and New Alsace. This includes the following Interstates I-74 in Indiana between mile markers 161 and 171. I-74 in Ohio near mile marker 0.
